4th level Primary students, in the Science class, have been working on the topic of Forces and Machines and one of their final activities was to build a fan. They brought to class simple materials such as a plastic cup, a clip, two cables, a little stick made of wood and, in class, they received an electric motor and a battery of 4,5 v.
After following the instructions given by the teacher, they were able to build their own machine. Students were very happy!

Aquesta setmana continuem amb l'activitat APS (Aprenentatge i Servei) de l'Apadrinament lector. Els alumnes de 1r d'ESO actuen de padrins de lectura dels alumnes de 2n de Primària que són els seus fillols.
En la primera sessió es va signar un contracte entre ambdós.
L'activitat consisteix en ajudar en la lectura i motivar els alumnes més petits.
Els alumnes de 1r d'ESO preparen abans el text que portaran per llegir i fan un seguiment del procés lector.

5th level students of Primary did a dissection of fish in the Science class. It was the first time they were doing this experiment and there were different reactions such as enthusiasm or apprehension but ,for sure, it was a good opportunity to observe the organs (heart, intestine and gills) of a vertebrate animal. During the next lesson, they will write a composition about the experiment.

Un any més els alumnes del col·legi Santa Anna van participar a la copa cangur de matemàtiques. Aquesta competició és basa en resoldre problemes de lògica i matemàtiques per equips de set alumnes de segon i tercer de la ESO.

En aquesta edició, el nombre d'alumnes del nostre col·legi que han volgut participar ha augmentat considerablement. Hi van participar 21 alumnes, un nombre destacable tenint en compte que és totalment voluntària.
