This week we've been working on things to do with Halloween! We painted a Spider mask black - it's a dark colour that we enjoyed using! Then on Thursday we joined all 3 classes together to take part in a Pumpkin Carving workshop. Shauna showed us how to cut the top off the pumpkin, take out the insides and cut its face. We really liked helping to take out the seeds.Today we took part in the Halloween party and it was great fun! We all came to school dressed up as scary Halloween characters, and we did different activities throughout the day.We enjoyed Halloween!

Today the pupils and teachers from Santa Anna celebrated Halloween, a traditional anglosaxon festival with Celtic roots. We all got dressed up as witches, ghosts, vampires and skeletons. The English department organized several typical games and activities, with English as the main language. This afternoon we played "Trick or Treat" and we had a cupcake decorating workshop. A huge number of families participated in the Pumpkin Contest, with over 200 wonderfully decorated pumpkins!!

At Santa Anna we had great fun taking part in all the activities.

Abans de l'esperada celebració, a P5 hem après a buidar una autèntica carabassa de Halloween. Li hem fet la boca, el nas i els ulls, i entre tots l'hem deixada a punt per col·locar-hi una espelma. Que interessant i quina emoció!

Ja tenim aquí les carabasses més terrorífiques!!!! Les han elaborat els nens del cicle inicial, que participaran al "pumpkin contest". Tenim moltes ganes que arribi Halloween, per fer activitats relacionades amb aquesta festivitat anglosaxona i per practicar l'anglès!!!
